Datom Manuel, a talented Forex trader from Nigeria, recently shared her journey and success story with FundedNext in an exclusive interview.
Manuel, who has been actively involved in Forex trading for the past four years, began her trading career in 2018. After taking a break, she returned to the market full-time in 2020. Residing in Nigeria, Manuel has refined her trading skills and developed a versatile strategy that includes stock indices, currency pairs, and cryptocurrencies.
Manuel’s trading strategy integrates Quasimodo patterns, ICT’s price and time principles, and volume profile analysis. She emphasizes the value of using multiple strategies to validate trades, stating, “If I find my strategy plays out on any pair or instrument, I’ll just go ahead and take the trade.”
As a swing trader, Manuel often identifies significant trading setups in the second and last weeks of each month. Her disciplined approach allows her to maintain a win rate of around 50%. However, Manuel focuses more on consistent profitability than win rates. “Even if I lose three trades in a row and win one, I make up for all the losses,” she explained.
Manuel’s experience with FundedNext has been extremely positive. She commended the firm for its excellent support and unique incentives for traders. “FundedNext has one of the best support teams. They remain calm and provide excellent assistance even during frustrating times,” she said. She also praised the firm’s incentive program, which rewards traders with 15% of their profit for phase one and phase two if they achieve 5% of their capital.
Reflecting on her journey, Manuel described joining FundedNext as a fortunate turn of events. Initially part of a large trading community using a different prop firm, she found herself gravitating towards FundedNext, a decision that proved beneficial when the other firm collapsed.
