FundedNext proudly presents an exclusive interview with Gianluca Bruni, an accomplished trader whose disciplined approach has earned him success with the firm. Originally from Sicily and now based in Dubai, Bruni has been navigating the trading world for five years with a keen focus on price action and risk management.
Gianluca Bruni’s journey began in Sicily, Italy, and has led him to Dubai, where he continues to refine his trading strategies. Over the past five years, Bruni has developed a distinctive approach, focusing primarily on Forex and indices. “I started trading about five years ago and now use my own strategy to guide my trades, particularly during the Asian session,” Bruni shared.
Bruni defines himself as a price action trader, leveraging his understanding of market trends and supply and demand zones. He detailed his trading setup, emphasizing the use of the Asian session box to identify key market movements. “The core of my strategy is price action. I developed patterns that signal when to enter trades based on market behavior,” he explained.
His commitment to backtesting is evident, with data accumulated over two years shaping his approach. “I adjust my risk levels based on patterns observed on specific days of the week. For instance, Wednesday isn’t ideal for one of my schematics, so I manage risk accordingly,” Bruni noted.
Bruni expressed his satisfaction with FundedNext, praising the firm for its superior platform and services. “FundedNext stands out among prop firms. The platform spreads and payout speeds are all excellent. I’m very pleased with the experience,” he said.
He stressed the importance of self-control, adding, “Even the best strategy won’t work if you can’t manage your emotions. Discipline and patience are key.”
